Cisco Aironet 1130 AG Series



Cost-Effective WLAN Access

This ready-to-install, easy-to-manage access point offers high capacity, high security, enterprise-class features to deliver wireless LAN access with a low total cost of ownership. Designed for coverage in offices and similar RF environments, this unobtrusive access point features integrated antennas and dual IEEE 802.11a/g radios for comprehensive and predictable coverage, providing a combined capacity of 108 Mbps.

With optional Cisco WirelessPLUS software, the Cisco Aironet 1130AG Series may be configured to support the OfficeExtend solution for secure, wireless teleworking.

The Cisco Aironet 1130AG Series may also be configured to support Enterprise Wireless Mesh, providing wireless connectivity for indoor areas that are difficult or impossible to wire. Mesh access points do not require wired connections; they use the 2.4-GHz frequency to deliver network access to users in hard-to-reach areas and the 5-GHz band to backhaul traffic to traditional access points connected to Ethernet ports.

The Aironet 1130AG Series is available in:

  • A lightweight version

  • An autonomous version that can be field-upgraded to lightweight operation

  • A single-band 802.11g version for use in regulatory domains that do not allow 802.11a/5 GHz operation

    Cisco WAP2000 Wireless-G Access Point - PoE



    Simple, Powerful Wireless Access

    Creating or expanding a wireless network is now as easy as plugging in an Ethernet cord. The Cisco WAP2000 Wireless-G Access Point is ideal for small businesses looking for robust wireless access. Its RangeBooster technology outputs a signal up to twice as far as standard 802.11g, with reduced dead spots and improved throughput up to 35 percent.

    The WAP2000 can be powered either through a standard AC adapter or via its Power over Ethernet (PoE) function, which allows the unit to be placed high on walls or in ceilings where no outlet is available.

    High-Speed Wireless Access

    Add PCs to your network with no cabling hassle. The WAP200 Access Point enables the addition of Wireless-G (802.11g) or Wireless-B (802.11b) devices to your network without so much as a power plug.

    The WAP200's RangeBooster technology doubles the reach and reduces the "dead spots" of a standard Wireless-G connection. Power over Ethernet (PoE) removes the necessity to locate the access point near an electrical outlet. Support for WEP, WPA, and WPA2 security protocols with up to 256-bit encryption, as well as new Wireless Security Monitoring functionality, provides advanced security.
